Let's make it a Summer of Change!
Turn your spare change into positive change! To get involved, please call 315-427-1857 to arrange for change collection boxes.
Care-A-Van was held in memory of Jack O. Bocchino, a lifelong supporter of local music. Jack was a true friend, a champion for those in need, and a generous soul. He is sorely missed, but his legacy of giving to those in need lives on!
In partnership with In My Father’s Kitchen, on Sunday, October 21st, we collected the following items to help homeless people in our community:
Water resistant gloves
Thank you to everyone who drove in, dropped off, and donated!
Thanks to our friends at Townsquare Media, for seven straight days (11/1-11/8) Food-A-Bago collected non-perishable food items and cash donations inside the RV parked at Weis Markets on Upper Front Street in Binghamton to benefit CHOW, Broome County’s Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse!
A grand total of $7,108 was collected for Broome County CHOW, which it turns $1 into FIVE complete meals… that equals 35,540 meals! We are still waiting to hear the total tonnage of non-perishable food was collected.
THANK YOU to everyone who supported this year’s efforts!
The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Black River Drive-In!

Fauré Requiem by The Roman
Catholic Diocese of Syracuse
November 17, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Syracuse’s Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception
On Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse presents Fauré Requiem. This was free to the public and features singers from the Cazenovia College/Community Choir. On Sunday November 17th Syracuse’s Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception located at 259 E. Onondaga Street hosts a diocese-wide chorus performing Gabriele Fauré’s Requiem in D Minor at 2 p.m. The impetus for this performance began with a parishioner at St. James Church in Cazenovia who invited singers from all of the diocese parishes to come together to sing masterworks from the great composers at the recently renovated downtown cathedral. The chorus has been rehearsing weekly in preparation for the Nov. 17 event. The Sacred Music Society of Syracuse, as well as Music for the Mission are sponsoring the event along with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse.

BeatleCuse 2019 was presented in part by Music for the Mission – in conjunction with honoring two Syracuse music community legends & BeatleCuse alumni – Doug Moncrief and Dan Elliott. Doug & Dan donated their time and talents to *both* of these stellar organizations in the years before they recently passed on to the Rock & Roll Heaven. Both such wonderful #ambassadors of M4M – and both dearly loved and missed!
Thank you for being present at the Event and making it more special!
